Nearly 40 breweries populate the Portland metro area. In a valiant effort to gain a deeper appreciation for Portland beer, and the brave men and women who brew it, I will
attempt to visit each of these breweries and sample their handiwork. I know, it sounds crazy. Maybe even a little dangerous. But I believe I owe it to you, Loyal Reader, to undertake this daunting endeavor. Those breweries that provide an associated brewpub need to save me a seat at the bar. Those breweries that do not offer pints to the public can expect to see me drinking their beer in the brewery parking lot.
